Summary[]
Guardian Spectre has approached Moritori Rex, who is actually playing himself, for once, on the basis of proposing a treaty or temporary cease-fire so they can concentrate on getting out of their prison, the Twilight Zone, and returning to Angel Island. Moritori recognizes that not only would such a treaty be logical, it would also be necessary: the Legion no longer has a fully-valid way of getting out of the Zone, due to the shifts in the continuum and the connection the Zone has to the Island, and the Brotherhood has no way of surviving in such surroundings without their help. He is, however, reluctant to consider such a proposal because of his pride, and he is uncertain whether or not they would betray him.
